Cut a Rock Power Explained — Offline Power and Mining (Roblox)

Cut a Rock on Roblox trains Power on anvils. A stronger pickaxe and a higher anvil multiplier produce more Power, and the public game description says Power keeps rising while you are offline.

The four anvil passes

The game’s pass list has four anvils. Each pass permanently opens that anvil and skips its Index requirement. The 200x pass is the only one that states the requirement in words: 24 Index entries. newtoplay repeats the same four prices. I do not have the Index counts for 25x, 50x, or 100x, so those cells stay empty.

The pass text also says Power is based on the pickaxe you have equipped. It does not give Power per minute, and I will not invent a rate or a “best anvil” payback.

Offline Power

The game description says you gain Power offline and that machines keep cutting while you are away. Bloxodes and newtoplay repeat the offline-cutting line. None of them publish a cap, a tick rate, or what happens if the cutter is blocked by an uncollected material. AllThingsHow’s “collect or the machine stops” note is about an active session, and I will not assume the same block applies overnight.

An AFK training area is named in the pass text for the anvil multipliers. That is an official description of a place, not a measured Power number.

Questions

Does Cut a Rock give Power while I am offline?

The game description says yes, and two independent guides repeat it. No source publishes how much.

Do I need 24 Index entries for every anvil?

Only the 200x pass says 24. The other three requirements are not in the pass text.

What is the total Robux if I buy every anvil pass?

199 + 299 + 399 + 499 is 1,396 Robux. That sum is the list prices, not a bundle.
