How to Redeem Codes in Cut a Rock (Roblox)

Cut a Rock redeems codes from an in-map ticket, not from a social post. Open the Ticket button in the top-right corner, paste the string on the ticket, and press OK within about five minutes.

Where the two guides disagree

Pro Game Guides lists four beats: find the ticket, open Ticket, type the text, press OK. Destructoid inserts a short tutorial before that button will accept input, and it says to paste rather than type. AllThingsHow never describes the button. It describes a Promo Ticket in the hub that you pick up with E.

I am not merging those into one official script. The button and the OK press appear on two pages, Pro Game Guides and Destructoid, in the same GAMURS publisher group. They count as one independent publisher. The tutorial gate is only in Destructoid. The E pickup is only in AllThingsHow. Use the steps below with those labels still attached.

If the string is rejected

Both newsrooms say the ticket dies in about five minutes. A rejected string is often just late. It can also be a code from Cut a Gem or Throw A Rock that a search result placed next to this game. Those strings are listed on the mix-up page so you can see the other title before you type them.

Nobody has published a phone or console layout for the Ticket button. I am not describing a mobile position I have not seen in a public screenshot.

Questions

Do I have to finish the tutorial first?

Destructoid says yes. Pro Game Guides does not mention a tutorial. Treat it as one source until a second page agrees.

Where is the button?

Pro Game Guides and Destructoid both place a Ticket control in the top-right corner. AllThingsHow instead describes picking up a Promo Ticket with E in the hub.

How long do I have?

About five minutes, according to both Pro Game Guides and Destructoid. No page gives a tighter clock.
