How to Make Money Fast in Cut a Rock (Roblox)

Cut a Rock on Roblox pays you when you sell a cut material. AllThingsHow documents the Day 1 boost as one hour of 2x money, and you should claim it before the first sale.

Prices I will use, and prices I will not multiply into an hourly rate

There is no published travel time, ticket timer, or cutter queue speed, so I will not print cash per hour. The November 5 guide also says sale amounts appear to grow with your total cash. That is one publisher’s observation, not a proven pricing formula. Calculated 2x values below are simple arithmetic on the printed base; observed sale values are copied separately and their boost conditions are not established.

SaleBaseCalculated 2xObserved saleStatus
Seashell $690 $1,380 — 1 publisher
Copper $420 $840 — 1 publisher
Rust Gear $530 $1,060 — 1 publisher
Old Button $1.2K with one Copper — — 1 publisher, wording kept
Petalstone $2,860 $5,720 $5.73K in starter 1 publisher
Petalstone observed — — $5,730 1 publisher; boost unspecified
Sakura Cascade — — $10,360 1 publisher; boost unspecified
Sakura Spirit — — $12,460 1 publisher; boost unspecified

Order A — Copper first (November 4 guide)

Claim the hour of 2x. Sell Commons until you can pay 3,000 for the Copper Pickaxe. AllThingsHow says a 2x Petalstone, at about 5,720, is almost double the price of that pickaxe. After that, the same guide points at Pocket for 10,000, which adds a slot. Eyesight at 7,000 is optional on this route. Eyesight at 1,000 is the only upgrade it calls realistic before Copper.

Order B — cutter first (November 5 guide)

Sell the first material and spend 2,500 on Rock Cutter level 2. That guide says Uncommon cuts fall from 30 seconds to 6, and Common cuts fall to 1 second. Next is Eyesight labeled 2 to 3 for 7,000, then Pocket labeled 2 to 3 for 10,000, then Iron at 12,000 cash or 80 Robux. Sportskeeda still says Iron costs 25,000. Later rungs on this page only: cutter level 3 at 20,000, Golden at 46,000, Pocket 3 to 4 at 100,000, Eyesight 3 to 4 at 49,000.

I am not calling either order the fastest. Order A gets you an Uncommon-capable pickaxe. Order B shortens the 30-second wait. They spend the first few thousand differently, and both articles are from the same site on back-to-back days.

Questions

Does the 2x boost stack with other boosts?

AllThingsHow says the Day 1 boost can sit on top of a boost you already have. No page publishes a cap.

Is Iron 12,000 or 25,000?

Both figures are in print. I left them in separate cells on the pickaxe page.

What is the best AFK money method?

I do not have a cash-per-hour figure. Offline progress is described for Power and for the cutting machine, not as a measured cash rate.
